My name is JORGE C. GARCIA:
- I was born in Solís de Mataojo Department of Lavalleja -Uruguay, and today my artistic home is in Tarragona, Catalonia- Spain, where I have resided for the last 18 years. My passion for landscape and architecture photography started seriously in 2006.
- From an early age, I showed an innate interest in capturing the beauty that surrounded me. My first experiences with a camera sparked a passion for immortalizing unique moments and breathtaking landscapes. This love for photography led me to explore different techniques and styles, but it was in landscape and architectural photography where I discovered my great interest.
- The move to Tarragona marked a turning point in my first steps. The change of scenery not only enriched my personal life, but also inspired new perspectives in my work. The rich history and unique architecture of Catalonia became the muse for many of my photographs, such as the Ebro Delta natural park, the Priorat region and undoubtedly Barcelona, each image telling a captivating story.
- The unique landscapes of the region became perfect canvases for the lens of my camera trying to capture the essence of a place in each photograph. Always trying that the composition and the ability to play with the light allow me to create images that transcend reality, transporting the viewer to a different place.
